ECI Welcomes Three New Employees
Joe Longo, Quality Assurance Manager, will help ECI implement stricter quality control standards, minimize quality issues, and train our staff on best practices and lean manufacturing standards. Prior to joining ECI, Joe worked for a large industrial manufacturing company in the areas of engineering and quality assurance, and brings over 30 years of manufacturing experience.
Justin Van Etten, CAD Designer, will work in our artwork department creating new designs, refining existing designs, and preparing files for manufacturing. Justin's background is CAD design, mechanical drafting, and industrial graphics. Prior to joining ECI, he gained over 10 years of experience working for architectural and engineering firms.
Jennifer Schaller, Customer Service Specialist, joins our front office assisting the Estimating Department with new orders, tracking existing orders, and providing various other customer support. Jennifer's background is office management, customer service, and quality inspection. Prior to joining ECI, she worked for a large international mail-order company, and she brings over 12 years of sales support and administrative experience.
Our new staff is dedicated to helping ECI maintain the fast customer response we have always provided, as well as improving our efficiency with lean manufacturing strategies. Better efficiency translates into cost reduction, error reduction, and improved productivity.
ECI’s Ed Cook Awarded SGIA 2010 Outstanding Service Award
Edward Cook, President of ECI Screen Print, was recognized by SGIA for his contributions in launching the new Industrial Zone at the 2010 SGIA Expo. Mr. Cook designed the demonstration product and coordinated much of floor layout to optimize onsite real time production by multiple manufacturers. SGIA recognized Mr. Cook’s efforts, presenting him with the SGIA 2010 Outstanding Service Award.
“It was really exciting to see different companies from across the globe come together for the first time and produce a finish product in a live forum. It demonstrates how diverse and versatile the industrial and printed electronics sectors are. It was truly impressive.” said Mr. Cook.
