From Humble Beginnings to a Continually Growing, Established Company
ECI is a private company that started in April of 1991 in Torrington, Connecticut by founder and President Edward F. Cook, Jr. Since its humble beginnings in that one room building in Torrington, in 1992, ECI moved to the Seth Thomas Clock Factory Building in Thomaston, and now to its own facility in the industrial park in Watertown where it is today. Although we started out small, we have continued to grow in workforce, production and size. According to Inc. 5000, ECI had a 45% growth increase from 2012-2015 ranked as #4924 of the top 5000 fastest growing companies in America in 2015.
